Update from Bali

It has been raining and thundering for the last couple of days here in Bali. The thunder is extremely loud, it sounds like the NYC 4th of July firework show is on top on my hotel! The last 2 days I have been shopping around and now it’s time for some sightseeing with my dear friend Matthew Yee.

 Have a great weekend everyone

Hey Vicente! We’ve all been wondering where you’ll surface next-first St.Petersburg, then Istanbul and now Bali. Silk route revisited-well kind of, with exciting detours along the way. So for now you’re in exotic lotus land of Bali and I guess chilling out after your strenuous odyssey across Asia. Hope you and Matthew have a great time and look forward to your next posting before you finally return to NYC.

    Hey Vicente.
I am green with envy. I have had a couple of multi-country trips to SE Asia and each time I come home with tons of treasures, but I have had to leave so much behind because I never could quite figure out how to get all of the things I would love to bring back and sell home. I looked into shipping containers, but it was very tricky (and expensive) shipping from different cities. Any tips?

Have a great time. Be safe. Bring me back something awesome.

    Daniel
