I’m off to Paris and keeping my fingers crossed for some successful antique shopping for VW Home. I haven’ been to Paris since last year June and am just so excited to go. It truly is one of my favorite European cities – with all that charm and history, yet always managing to be at the forefront of what’s hot and happening.
Do you have any new recommendations of things I should see while I’m there? As always, I’d love to hear your tips. As I mentioned last time: I always love Paris, but I especially love Paris in the Springtime!
Au revoir!

You did have a joyous spring in your step when I saw you on the rue St Honoré. I wasn’t sure it was you until you posted this.
Enjoy the glorious holiday weekend weather with a trip to les Puces. That’s what I’ll be doing!

I’m looking forward to your ‘post’ Paris blogs. It’s been several years since I’ve been to that wonderful city. I anxiously await hearing about your new finds in Paris. Enjoy!

Have you ever been to the French Open? You’ll be there while it is on. It’s a lovely way to spend a day (if you like tennis). I really like just wandering around, but particularly in the Marais. Musee Picasso is a favorite. Also love the garden at the Musee Rodin.
(ps to Gary – i did know that the jfk quote was a statement not a complaint. Thought it was a good jolt of reality at that point in the conversation).

Mandy – Oh I knew you understood the quote and I’m glad you appreciate it. I was explaining to another person who took it the other way. It was a lesson in communication for me with so many folks writing in and cross-referencing each other. The sad irony and great impact of the quote is that within months fate would deal JFK the cruelest card and bring a golden era to an end. Who knows how different and better our history may have been if that event never occurred? – Gary
