I just recently found your blog here so I’m perusing the pages. So glad to hear that you are well now and sorry that you had to go through such a hard time with this pneumonia. I love your blog here and that you are so kind to share your vision and advice with others. I have seen a great humility in the pages I have read so far and am quite pleased and surprised coming from a designer this high in the business.

I am sorry to hear you were not doing so well and glad to hear you are on the mend.

One of my carpet suppliers died of cancer a few years back. She had that gene. She had such a good attitude about the work we do. Her mantra — which I say to myself when clients get rediculous is: “It’s just carpet.”

Clients who do not understand that sometimes life gets in the way of decorating are not worth it. People –friends, colleagues, family, staff, that guy on the bus you see everyday….anyone else who understands IS worth it.

It’s just carpet.

I’m so sorry to hear about your illness…it’s a terrible feeling to be sick and not your happy self:) Take one day at a time. I went through my own ordeal with doctors and medical treatment. It’s opened my eyes to healthcare in general. Stay Positive!!! And surround yourself with the right support…like this blog:) Get well soon!
