I went to see Julie and Julia on Friday night and it is just such a heart-warming love story that exemplifies that really successful people can be nice and wonderful – while still being successful as Ms Childs was. The acting is great and Meryl Streep really transforms herself one more time into the character she’s playing – you’ll really enjoy it.

Had the great pleasure of seeing the film over the weekend. LOVED it. Planning to see it at least one more time.

Of course, after seeing the movie I had to dig deeper into the “how did all this happen/where is she now” regarding Julie Powell–it’s sad to read so many bloggers bashing her–to me, she reached for a goal that she not only completed but more importantly, it allowed her to learn so much more about herself.

Love the movie, went to see it last Saturday. Stanley Tucci’s performance is impeccable, he and Meryl really have a natural chemistry on screen. The rhythm of the movie is great.

I enjoyed the film very much. I did not find the Julie parts to be slow or drag the film down. I found it to be another Nora Ephron masterpiece.
My hearty congratulations to Julie Powell and I forgot to mention,– Stanley Tucci is splendid in this movie.
