Fur Ball Drama

I’m not very mechanical, but here’s a tip. If you have an ice machine, a refrigerator, a wine cooler or anything that sucks in air in order to work, by all means, remove the hair balls every now and again. When I got back from my blitz trip to Switzerland this morning, my wine cooler was down to 74 and hadn’t been cooling. The ice machine? All I had was a puddle of water at the bottom. Even the jello I had in the fridge had gone liquid. This morning I called the technician in and was told to clean the sucker out. After some house cleaning, I have ice in my machine, the wines (that survived the heat wave) are chilled and my fridge is keeping things fresh. Nene’s fur is not helping the situation. I may just have to shave him down for the summer…

Dang those little fur balls!… but seriously, that is definitely a good thing to be reminded of… even a little build up can affect the efficacy of a system… thanks for the reminder.

Vicente – The food and wine we waste on love! That’s a face that must be forgiven though, eh? – Gary

So who loves jello? Vicente or Nene?

What a handsome guy you’ve got. I have long haired cats that shed like crazy and find that the vacuum cleaner on the air uptake every so often is my best weapon.

    Or both?

To help save poor Nene from the terrible fate of a lion cut, you should try brushing him on a semi-regular basis. There will be less fur collecting about the house.

I say this from experience since when my cat gets up she sometimes leaves a whole cat behind on the bed/chair/wherever. Brushing helps a bit. :)

Good thing you were able to get everything working again.
