Fall Cleaning

We’ve been cleaning house in the office, getting rid of old transparencies, photos, tschotchkes, objects from my travels, things that one buys, puts away and never looks at again and in the process I’ve thrown out four large boxes. An old Xerox machine that’s been in the office for over 15 years finally made its way to the junk graveyard, two pairs of glasses that I’ve had for years are being donated to charity (send your old pairs to New Eyes for the Needy too!), just on and on, purging and purging.

And though it’s been a little upsetting seeing these things go, it is very freeing and the office just looks so much better – much more organized. This is a great time to clean house because when it picks up, God knows one won’t have the time.

So if you’re saying ‘I have nothing to do’, just go for those papers that have been sitting on your desk for months and those samples that you haven’t looked at for the last ten years. Give them liberation! It sure is much easier than losing ten pounds…

I do that periodically. It is a form of therapy :) and you are right Vicente, you feel light and clean.
