Birthday

Thank you so much for all the kind wishes for my birthday yesterday. I did not celebrate it as I don’t believe in celebrating things like birthdays or new year’s…I usually try to be out of New York for these so-called ‘big dates’.

That said, I truly appreciate all the well wishes.

You know Vicente, I am the same way, its a very unpopular stance as I am sure you have discovered.
It bothers other people far more than me!
Many thanks for all the great blogs in 2009.

Vicente, happy birthday! I LOVE your blog and your work, of course. I recently read the WSJ article about your wonderful relationship with Amsale and very much enjoyed it. However, the most surprising part of the entire story was the revelation of your age! You are most certainly doing something right to look so good. Seriously, you are gorgeous! And your interiors are as well… looking forward to your new book.

After 30 only milestones should be celebrated. Forty, Fifty, seventy five and one hundred. One hundred is a very cheap party everyone you ever knew is dead.

    Happy Birthday

    Lee
