Amsterdam is one of many amazing cities that I haven't been able to visit, and would love to purely for the architecture of the buildings. The use of gold on the windows and doors really gives a classy touch. Were these taken in the centre of the town? Or is the architecture of the city similar throughout? Some gorgeous designs here. Just now finalizing entry door/front porch details and colors for THE CONCORD GREEN HOME, a new construction, eco-friendly farmhouse set in historic Concord, MA. Trying to honor the local vernacular, but also bring in a bit of light and "loft minimalism" to the space... trying to decide between painted black vs. a "stripped pine" look for the front door.
