I know that all you bloggers out there will be blogging about the Royal Wedding ad nauseam. All I want to say is the church, the dress, the bridesmaids, the flowers, etc etc. spoke of a modern clean approach which was simple yet elegant and in keeping with our times.
I was very disappointed by Kate’s wedding dress. I expected a more modern and interesting approach to a traditional royal gown. This dress to me looks stuffy and dated. Kate would look beautiful in a paper bag, but this dress is just boring.
I agree Vincent that this was all in all a fabulous and beautiful day. I was very impressed with the timeless approach and loved the simplicity and sophistication of Kate’s dress.
You are also right… the blog world has exploded with coverage and comments!
I have to admit that I too, thought she would be wearing a more modern dress… I also, know that weddings and wedding dressing, is very different in the UK, and much more traditional then in the US… I think she dressed like what a royal would dress like… She is so tiny.. I did not realize how petite she is….

I loved the long, loose flowing hair in contrast to the traditional clean, and elegant gown.

Loved the understated elegance of the ceremony as well as of Kate’s dress..simply beautiful..about Kate ..lets not forget she dressed for her own special day and not for impressing the whole world with her fashion sensibilty..i think she came out tops!! xx meenal
