Margaret Russell and her web team at Elle Decor have worked so hard over the past couple of months to launch the spectacular new independent website at www.elledecor.com.
I, for one, am a fan – I think it looks really, really good. How much do you love it?

Nice! While there is nothing better then the glossy pages of a new magazine arriving in the mail, the truth is I hardly ever have the time to get to them. It seems so much easier to just click and point and peruse through the computer. Then at the end of the day when I shut of the computer and leave my office I am free to live the rest of my life! So…yea, I’m a fan.

IT’S OK…
I DO NOT LIKE ADVERTISING BETWEEN THE HEADER AND THE COPY…
JUST A PERSONAL THING… IT DISTRACTS ME..

I subscibe to the mag. so an additional resoure is most welcome and have no doubt I’ll enjoy it.
But, I agree w/ Melissa the ad is super distracting in this location. And, the slide show is too fast…kinda was giving me a headache as all the colors zoomed by!

it’s interesting and elegant – no doubt there will be some updating and changes that go on over the next few weeks.

I love Elle Decor and really look forward to using their website! There’s a lot going on there right now with things clicking and moving around. Hopefully they’ll find the right balance between getting advertising revenue and usability. I’m glad for anything they do to keep the magazine going.

Elle Decor is my favorite shelter out there. But the site – and most magazine sites for that matter – are really no where near as dynamic as they probably will be in a few years. Can’t wait for all magazines to really put effort and imagination nto a their sites. Fortunately, the will have no choice!
Did anyone see this link about magazine/newspaper applications for the Ipad that are rolling out. This is where things will get interesting.
