Elizabeth Taylor

I was watching TCM this morning and they were showing clips of different classic movies and a clip of Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof came on, there really is no other creature as extraordinary. Her raw sexual persona was beyond and God knows her personal life was another movie in itself. It’s hard to believe she is gone; she always seemed to overcome her health problems.

There will never be another violet eyed diva like the great Elizabeth Taylor.

That’s true…. it’s hard to believe and we won’t see another violet eyed diva as good as she was. She was talented and her beauty was something out of this world, but she was much more than that, she was generous, very kind and truly down-to-earth. That’s what makes a real star. We don’t see those qualities on “famous” people nowadays. They have so much to learn how a Real Star should be.

I WONDER WHERE ALL HER JEWELS WILL GO… TO HER DAUGHTER???
I THINK SHE LIVED HARD AND PLAYED HARD AND WENT FULL TILT…
PERHAPS SHE WAS READY TO MOVE ON…
SHE WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL FOR A VERY LONG TIME…

I watched “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” recently which showed her versatility as a great dramatic actress once her beauty began to fade. Perhaps her greatest role came after she retired from the screen raising multi-millions of dollars for AIDS research and hospices. Rest in peace, Liz, and thanks for the memories . – Gary

What a truly amazing creature! An almost unearthly beauty. But, not just her extraordinarily features – such a kind and generous heart. She will be greatly missed.

I love Liz, she was so beautiful and I especially loved her in ‘A Place in the Sun’ with Monty Clift and ‘Father of the Bride’ with Spencer Tracy…and I just read she was worth a whopping $600 million! wow…she was able to turn her perfume business into a money-maker for her AIDS charities…she made a difference and that just adds to her legacy.
