Vicente – It’s been a pleasure to attend your talks, share in the Q&A and especially have some personal conversation, all of which add another dimension to your books and your blog. Thank you for your patience with my multi-part questions, the positive comments on my design and all the insight and encouragement you provide to the design community! – Gary
Melissa – My wife and I have an apartment in Atlanta as well as our home in St Louis. This has been my best opportunity to hear Vicente speak since we don’t have a major design center in St Louis, though I almost missed both talks being stuck in Atlanta’s incomprehensible traffic! Each city has its strengths and weaknesses! Congratulations to you on your wedding and to the astute fellow who won your heart. We are all, however, stuck in this heat wave today from California to the New York island. On that I can offer no consolation nor better location! Gary
So nice to put a face to the name – hello Gary! I thoroughly enjoy every one of Gary’s comments and look forward to them, in fact I’ve always enjoyed the comments on this blog as much as the posts. Always insightful.

OMG! TWINS!! AMAZING!!!
Eat your heart out Arnie and Danny.
Whatever, it’s’ always a joy to read Vicente’s feisty and entertaining blogs-gives zip to the start of every morning. And no less for Gary’s succinct and erudite comments,a treat in themselves (even if you don’t revere our gracious Queen of England!).
We love you both-keep up the good work guys.

Richard – I’m flattered. Twins! I presume you think I’m the Schwarzenegger character, but if anyone is confused who is who, I’m the slender fellow on your left who ate the whole watermelon for breakfast. BTW, I’m very fond of your queen. She reminds me of my aunts Clara and Lulu who also wore flowery dresses and had tea parties on their back lawn. LOL – Gary

Rock on Gary! Cool dude!
Her Majesty sends her best. She’s bit tied up today, what with Zara’s wedding and soforth, but asked me to convey Her Royal Forgiveness. A most generous gesture in the circumstances don’t you think!.

Richard – Seriously, I enjoy banter and was just returning your gibe as we’d done once before. I really got a good laugh from your joke and hoped you’d like mine including the self-deprecating part. I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings. OK? – Gary

Everyone – As an architect who does interiors too, but was not trained in them, I have mostly learned from the outside by observation of the work of others and my own trial and error. So it has expanded my horizons greatly to read your opinions and view your work on your websites and blogs, as well as communicating with a few you. Thank you all for sharing. – Gary
