We are just compiling my schedule for an upcoming trip to Las Vegas to attend the Las Vegas Market (September 14 – 17, 2009) and I am extremely honored to be named at the event as this year’s Design Icon, joining the ranks of prominent past recipients such as Roger Thomas, Vladimir Kagan and Larry Laslo.
Part of the preparation for this event is putting together a presentation that looks back over the years, starting with some rooms created by Patino/Wolf, and then showing some recent projects and glimpses from my upcoming book. The ‘Design Icon’ seminar, followed by a question and answer session, reception and a book signing, will take place at 4:00pm on September 16th on the 16th floor of Building B. Congratulations Vicente! I am reading your first book learning to see right now, it is such a inspiring, beautiful and well written book! I am amazed by compositions of the rooms, the way you layer things. absolutely master piece.
