I was pleased to be asked by Architectural Digest to design the AD 100 Designer Consultation Suite at the AD Home Design Show. It was done in conjunction with Crate and Barrel and some of my pieces from VW Home. The guideline was to make it look “Architectural Digest elegant”. They feel that we’ve hit the mark. What do you think?

I think placing the seating group at an angle adds both some energy and intimacy to the open space. I like how the folding screens and Chinese horseshoe chairs are made of similar materials and colors. But I especially take note of how well the white and light gray pillows and white ottomans tie together the warm taupe sectional with the cool light gray carpet. Well done! – Gary

I guess you were able to give it a touch of elegance. But I think you can add a few more pieces to make the set look complete. It looks as though something is missing. I personally prefer replacing the wood chair pieces into something (a design) with contemporary theme.
