After working with Pointed Leaf Press and Director Sam Shahid over the last year and a half, at last the book will be coming out in September this year! It will feature all of the photographs from Frida’s personal photography collection, which I won and each time I look at these photos, it makes me feel like Frida is right next to me. If you are an afficiando of her, you’ll love the collection as most of them are photographs that have never been seen before. As an art director, Sam really did an incredible layout which brings the collection to life.

Vicente, very exciting. I saw her exhibit in La Jolla a few years back which also included some of Diego Rivera’s works of art. I have two of her books. A hauntingly beautiful, tortured woman, full of life until the end!

Vicente, this sounds amazing. Frida is one of my favorite artists of all time. She was so ahead of her time. You are so lucky to have her personal photographs! I will definitely check out this book. Congratulations!

This is great! I admire her, as a woman, as a artist and the way she managed her rather tragic life..being married to Diego did not help much.
She was a gifted artist, whith such an unique expression and a lifestyle icon!
I love her vibrancy, colorful fashion and her confidence ’til the end!
Cant’t wait to see this photo colection!
