On Monday night Preston Bailey hosted a dinner at my apartment (I was invited, of course). It’s always so nice being a host when you don’t know anybody and you don’t really have to do much. And this was like magic. His crew came in and set up the table for 20 people with the most extraordinary center pieces and attention to detail.
Again, proof to me of Preston’s great talent and his ability to transform a space. I’m sure you’ll agree.

Lucky, lucky guy. Though I am sure you were very deserving of the Preston Bailey magic.

Vicente – I ran across that TV video tour of your residence which showed more extended and connected views than I had seen previously in magazine articles. I was struck by how the white envelop of space and taupe fabrics absorb and unify such a variety of different styles of furniture, art and accessories. It looks like a laboratory for living, but is also very calm. And it’s a great backdrop for the festive rose pink table. – Gary

It was a wonderful dinner with great company and outstanding food – in true PB style, of course.

This room is lovely, the lavendar pink toning is pretty, but gee it could be overpowering if you had to dine in it regularly.

What an amazing display! And a gorgeous looking tablecloth, are the chairs a matching colour or are they see-through? Some brilliant colour coordination going on with the flowers and table design. Completely agree with Seane though, eating in it every day may be a bit much!
