		<description>Vicente,

I really like the lighting in your projects, especially your choices of floor and wall lamps. I wish I would have ordered a pair of those Hinson floor lamps with the angled, translucent white conical shades before they were discontinued. Ah well. Timing is everything!

Flos has a handsome new floor/reading lamp called the Tab F1 that comes with a 40w halogen bulb and a white, black or blue finish. It is a simple design with a graceful metal shade.

Everyone:

There is a floor lamp that has a base, stem and arm much like the Cedric Hartman floor lamp referred to above, but instead of a pharmacy shade, it has a conical white glass shade that points down, is attached to the arm and has a switch on the socket housing at the top of the shade. There is a wall-mounted version of this floor lamp where the arms are essentially the classic L1 Luxo Lamp (drafting lamp) and the conical shade is white glass instead of a painted metal. I saw both these lamps in the work of Joe D&#039;Urso and other designers in the 1970&#039;s and 80&#039;s and I didn&#039;t see it again until the January 2009 issue of Architectural Digest, page 109. I&#039;ve never seen any resource info on the lamps though. Does anyone know these lamps and their manufacturer, model and/or distributor? I would appreciate any information.
