Several years ago, at our home in Holland, I moved the bed to the wall where it looked the best (which just so happened to be under the window) and woke up the next morning with a cold (in spite of the fact I'd put a screen between the bed & window)! Two days later my husband was acho-ing along beside me! Meanwhile, we've moved to Berlin and our 18th C apartment has been totally renovated and in typical German fashion they didn't miss a thing in the reno - our windows are leak-free & now I can sleep anywhere I want!
